What must I do, in order for the Lord to respond to me? First and foremost, we must be sincere and available. Often we pray and pray, insistently asking that God’s will be done in us…but what if the Lord indicated to us a road that wasn’t in our plans?

Abram's name was changed to Abraham, Simon's was changed to Peter, Saul's to Paul, just to name a few. As religious, we continue this Biblical tradition in changing our names when we become friars and nuns to signify our life-changing encounter with the Lord and our subsequent personal mission. Here is the story of how I received the name Caterina as my religious name.
