We congratulate Friar Nathaniel who, during the Eucharistic liturgy of the Mass this morning, was ordained a Transitional Deacon by Bishop Fabre (Bishop of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux) at the Holy Family parish in Dulac, LA: a beautiful sight  on this feast day of St. Anthony of Padua!
 

Friar Nathaniel's journey has brought him from the "Old Orleans" (as he likes to say) to the New Orleans (or close by), and his spiritual quest has led him even further: from atheism to ordination in the Catholic Church! He has been serving as Formator of the Little Friars of Jesus and Mary at the Male Formation House in Houma, LA, and will now also be serving as a deacon for the Holy Family Parish in Dulac.
